Mother's Day Card Round-Up

I am not yet a mama myself, but if I was I'd surely want one of these pretty cards! Good thing I have two moms, two sweet mémères and plenty of mama friends to send some love to. And with Mother's Day a short two weeks away, now is the time to order these lovelies online so you can get them in time to send out!

1. One of my favorite combos, black + white stripes, pink and gold – this bold Lots of Love card from Sugar Paper has gorgeous written all over it. I'll be sending this one to a couple of my mama friends.

2. With all of it's coral prettiness, the We Love Mom Heart card from Sugar Paper is a good one for siblings to give together and appropriate for mother-in-law too!

3. Can you tell I love Sugar Paper's designs? This last one is one of my favorites. It's always SO hard to find mother's day cards for grandma (or in my case Mémère) and this Grandma Heart card, with it's darling heart lined envelope is perfectly cute.

4. I've been obsessed with the floral patterns from Berin Made. If you can't give Mom a pretty bouquet of flowers, well this card is the next best thing.

5. More pretty flowers and lovely illustrations on the Rosy Blooms Mother's Day Card from Rifle Paper Co.

6. Amusing and witty as always, Mr. Boddington's Studio has this Little Mary Poppins card that's sure to make Mom smile.

7. We all have the best Mom ever, don't we? I love the graphic feel of the Best Mom Ever card from The Paper Cub.

8. Have new mama friends celebrating their 1st Mother's Day? Farewell Paperie has a pretty pink and purple, super sweet First Mother's Day card.

I think I pinned every single design because everyone out there should know that these gems exist. The exquisite color palettes, detailed patterns and stunning design couldn't be any prettier. Gold Foil Invites for Rustic Fall Wedding

I was honored to work with one of the sweetest brides in Boston this summer on a stunning invitation suite for her upcoming fall wedding! This amazing bride also happens to be a good friend and co-worker of mine at Neptune Oyster, so it was even more fun to throw ideas around over late night oysters and glasses of bubbly after our usual Sunday shift.

Ann and her fiancé Mitch chose a color palette of champagne, gold and ivory for their rustic wedding at a gun club in western Massachusetts. I created this board back in May as a jumping off point and source of inspiration for Ann and Mitch while thinking of the small details they might include at their wedding reception. After a few ideas and changes, we went with a simple design using casual and handwritten fonts, black ink and gold foiled names and on 100% pearl cotton paper. We decided on a post card RSVP to stay on budget since adding gold foil is more costly and we hadn't originally planned on this. This was my first time working with gold foiling and letterpress printing together and I am thrilled with the results. The subtle touch of gold to the names and RSVP adds just enough to fancy up these simple invites.

Congrats to Ann and Mitch on their upcoming wedding! xo, you two.

Market Lists from Sugar Paper

Wow, I can't believe that two months have passed by since my last post! I've been a busy bee this summer and have some wonderful news coming in September on the paper side of things, can't wait to share!

Today, I have a bit of stationery goodness for you all from the lovely Sugar Paper. As much as I love food and trying new recipes, I dread a trip to the grocery store like no other. I usually grab whatever scrap paper I can find and jot down what I need in no particular order, which means I end up running back five aisles to grab that randomly placed item on the list. You know what I'm talking about. So you can imagine my excitement when I spotted these beautifully designed Market notepads. A few more favorites from these luxurious stationers include the Thanks notecard set in Raspberry and the Card for All Occasions Box.

Sweet Greetings: Quill & Fox

I am obsessed with my first little garden, if you can't already tell by my random mentions. And I've also been swooning over West Elm's air plants and terrariums for a little indoor garden action. So, when I found these sweet post cards from Quill & Fox, you can only imagine my delight. And the little cacti stamps? Just perfect.

Birthday Calendar from Linda & Harriett

This is one of my absolute favorites from Linda & Harriett, though I love their beautiful calendars and notepads too. But the Birthday Calendar, is especially useful, for people like me and maybe some of you out there, who have a hard time keeping track of birthdays. Hang it up by your desk for a quick glance before you do your monthly birthday card shopping. Plus, the illustrations are beyond cute!

I have a confession...

I'm craving some ric rac. Yes, and my glue gun and some red construction paper for my xo day cards. Mom was so crafty with us when we were kids so I suppose she handed that down to me and I love it, I do. But. I must refrain from my ways of the 90's and come back to the beautiful reality of today's stunning stationery. Here are some paper pretties I've spotted for this years Valentine's Day. In the meantime, I'm going to satisfy my craft appetite with these x-stitch kits, which are sweet little vday gifts for those fabulous ladies in your life.
