Neptune Oyster Engagement Shoot + Photographer Kate McElwee

Engagement photo shoots, some might say, are superfluous to the already long list of wedding expenses. But when it comes right down to it, unless you are a photog pro yourself with a snazzy camera and some serious skills, how many professional photo shoot opportunities are you going to get in your life time, with the love of your life?

While serving up oysters and lobster rolls at Neptune yesterday, I met the sweetest newly engaged couple who were doing part of their engagement session right there at the bar. It has always been one of their favorite places to eat and they wanted to capture that moment, how romantic? (sigh) I also got to meet the photographer, Kate McElwee, who apparently takes super fun, down to earth, capture-the-moment-perfectly photos. I am so thrilled to have met another talented photographer in the area and I highly recommend you take a gander at her website if you're in need of a wedding photographer.
